£25,000 p.a. based on 37.5 hours
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (potential for part time hours 25+ over 5 days to be negotiated if required).

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail orientated Finance Assistant to strengthen our finance team based in Paisley.
As a Finance Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our company and support the production of our annual financial statements.

The successful candidate:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Assistant will provide support and assistance on day-to-day operations in the full spectrum of account activities. Previous experience working in a busy finance position along with working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting is desirable. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. You will have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to multitask and prioritise a hectic workload.

 

Main functions of the Role:

•  Oversee processing of sales and purchase invoices.
•  Assist with the management of credit control and managing purchase ledger payments.
•  Processing and payment of employee personal expenses.
•  Processing and reconciliation of bank accounts
•  Reconciling supplier accounts, and preparing supplier payment runs
•  Assisting with processing of monthly payroll including journal entries and account reconciliations
