Location: Paisley Town Centre (PA1)
Salary: Annual: £35,000 rising to £40,000 after successful completion of probation
Hours: Full Time: 37.5 hours per week. 5 x 8 – hours shifts (Mon-Fri): 08:30 until 17:00.

The Role:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated, individual to join our team as a Compliance Manager. This critical role involves leading and managing the compliance, complaint and correspondence teams. Supporting the Head of Compliance in implementing regulatory change, identifying business risks, audit adherence to business processes and management systems and providing continual feedback to the business on compliance matters.
Key responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage the compliance, complaint and
correspondence teams, providing coaching and mentoring to achieve
outstanding levels of delivery, performance, and business governance. - Complaint Management: Oversee the management and resolution of
customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Conduct root
cause analysis to identify key trends and improve customer outcomes. - Compliance Adherence: Ensure all business processes and management
systems comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies to
minimise risk and safeguard our reputation. - Communication: Utilise strong communication skills to understand issues,
identify solutions and provide clear explanations of actions taken. - Reporting: Complete detailed reports on a monthly and weekly basis for both
internal records and external clients, providing transparency and insight into
the team performance areas. - Process Improvement: Identify recurring issues and contribute to process
improvements to enhance overall customer satisfaction. - General Correspondence: Oversee general correspondence via email and
letter, ensuring our commitment to excellent customer service is upheld.

Minimum Requirements :
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the company’s reputation for exceptional service. Additionally, strong compliance awareness and people management skills are crucial. Proven people management skills, with at least 3 years’ experience in leading a team
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong compliance knowledge within an FCA environment and experience of adherence to regulations
- Working experience of policy creation/ review within a regulatory environment
- Relationship management with external and internal stakeholders
- Experience of completing internal audits is essential, external audit
- completion is desirable
- Creation of business reports is desirable
- Reliable – Trustworthy and professional.
- Responsive – Adaptable to change and able to use own initiative.
- Resolute – Possessing a ‘can-do’ attitude.
